“How sharper than a serpent’s tooth it is to have a thankless child” Act I, Scene 4, King Lear.

I was deeply inspired by the curious and conflict riddled family in Shakespeare’s King Lear. I saw my own family in their chaos and reconciliation. From satire to sincerity, this piece explores our lasting familial ties. Though we can bring out the worst and best in each other, we are inevitably bound together.
